Lalo rose to be the social stationery in Paris and in the royal courts across Europe. The paper has the look and feel of handmade paper, with the grid of lightly-textured parallel lines (vergeures) formed as it was laid to dry. These subtle ribs are helpful guides for handwriting.  We particularly love their perfect shade of blue and the barely-there rose.  So French!

Currently celebrating its 100th birthday, G. Lalo remains the only laid paper personal stationery made in Paris.
